Copper Repoussé

Alexander Metal Studios can create and incorporate copper repoussé panels into your design. Repoussé is the process by which a sculptural relief is raised in the metal from behind. Amber Alexander has studied the ancient techniques of chasing and repoussé under Master Silversmith Valentin Yotkov. The fine details are then accentuated with chasing tools on the surface of the piece. For centuries this art was largely consigned to museums. Today it is experiencing a renaissance.
